Agree or not with Jiang Xueqin, his world view is coherent and does make sense. This fight between factions in the Western world does control the narrative of the news but is it the only story in town?
Trump says one thing and does the opposite. Officially, clearly he supports a different arrangement but does he really? He officially opposes the war in Ukraine but has not once restrained arm shipments to Ukraine which he has the power to do, or does he?
Likewise for European leaders who all say one thing to get elected then apply globalist policies whatever their early political platform may support.
What is more and more obvious, is that politicians these days are just mere figureheads. They are not imbeciles by accident but by design. Chosen and put in place for their willingness to be manipulated and lack of integrity.
And if that is the case, should we attach any importance at all to what they say?
What we would need to know is the real intentions of the people who truly govern but these people wisely remain in the shadow and mostly never reveal their true intentions. They are books, "The End of History", and ideologies such as the Neo-cons, but these are only extreme viewpoints. There is no true consensus at the higher level, only interests and a dialog to which we are not privy and therefore cannot judge.
In the end, as in the old computer language; WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), what we see in reality is to a large extent what is intended, not accidental. America is only the military arm of a deeper Western financial imperialism. Countries which try to break free from the chains, like Iraq, Libya or Iran are crushed. Those strong enough to divert from the line, Japan earlier or Russia now are reigned in and reintegrated in a junior role in the system as in the case of Japan or excluded as in the case of Russia. China being a more complex and therefore elaborate fight.
In such a "real politics" world view, the "positive" feelings of Trump towards some people and not others are mostly a show with little importance. I.e. the "fights" we see are arranged and rigged. They are not the real fights. The Globalists are not an ideology but a reality of the market where as we discussed yesterday most of the money creation is now done outside the central bank system. In other words, our supposedly "democratic" systems are now purely cosmetics with less and less relations to reality.
As this becomes more obvious, people are revolting more and more openly. This too is another reality.
