Following the failure of the Covid pandemic, the net-zero and CO2 fanatical obsessions, the immigration tsunami, we now have the complete breakdown of the Ukraine front. No wonder Europe is in panic mode.
The main European economies are crashing, relentlessly. France and the UK are hopelessly bankrupt. Germany is losing its industrial base. Soon social programs and especially over generous pension plans will have to be terminated. The European elites know this and need to do "something" about it, sooner than later. Fixing the mess is beyond their ability so someone must take the blame for the disaster. They have decided that "that" someone should be Russia. Consequently, there is no snowball chance in hell that they will change course. It is simply impossible. They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. So although complete defeat of Ukraine will terminate the war, it will not terminate the European plight.
As we discussed many times in the past, decline is not an event but a process. Now that Europe is irremediably engaged in it, it will be relentless.
