Chase Hughes, a behavioral strategist is both interesting and right. Well worth listening to. Yes, Americans or Europeans for that matter, won't riot when the music stops. We saw it during the Corona Virus crisis. That much is certain. Where I would differ with him is that the reaction of the people will only be "one" variable among many. The disruption to the system will be such that it is unpredictable how everything will play out. And that is the most scary part of the story.
