Trump was tricked into the war by Netanyahu, believing it would be a cake walk as in Venezuela and realizing it is in fact a quagmire, doesn't know what to do, short of doubling down as in a Las Vegas Casino.
What was easy to bomb in Iran has been bombed. What's left are mostly civilian targets such as bridges and power plants. Although painful for the population, this will have no effect whatsoever on the country.
As discussed earlier in our Hormuz article, attacking the Hormuz Strait in Summer when the temperature is above 50C (125F) is impossible. And at any other time, the geography makes it extremely difficult.
Trump is stuck! His blockade will quickly put him in direct confrontation with China. (He probably can say goodbye to his trip to Beijing next month.) And the price of gas in the US will explode which will alienate the few remaining MAGA fanatics.
What could go wrong for us when everything goes wrong for a man like Trump?
