An interesting discussion about the long term trends in the Middle East. In a nutshell, more of the same until the 2028 elections in the US with a Trump administration unwilling and incapable to concede any point and therefore peace remaining elusive with war on an off on regular basis. It makes sense politically.
But in between a significant win for the Democrats in November or a market crash in the US could severely impact the status quo Trump is aiming at. And then of course, both Zelinski and Netanyahu who are visiting Washington this week won't be thrilled by the idea of a status quo, to say the least.
The Middle East was a trap. Trump fell ensnaring the US for an indefinite length of time. The real question is what is on the other side of the war? A multi-polar world or World War 3?
